Breast Tissue Preservation

Preservè is a modern breast augmentation technique that aligns with the philosophy of tissue preservation.

It was developed with women in mind who wish to enhance the appearance of their breasts without sacrificing naturalness and elegance.

By combining advanced technology with care for the female body, Preservè allows breast shaping while simultaneously protecting its internal structure and function.

Thanks to low-invasive techniques, Preservè preserves the natural breast tissues and their sensitivity. It is a solution that enables patients to feel confident and comfortable.

When can this method be applied?

Traditional breast augmentation

This method allows for a rapid increase in breast volume without damaging its structure and tissues.

Breast augmentation with lifting

The Preservè method can be used in combined augmentation and mastopexy procedures.

Hybrid breast augmentation

The technique can be applied in combination with autologous fat grafting.

Breast revision surgery

Preservè is also suitable for secondary (revision) breast procedures.

Breast malformations

The technique is ideal for the rapid correction of anomalies such as tuberous breast deformity.

Main advantages:

Tissue preservation

Preservè is an innovative, less invasive breast augmentation method that respects the natural structures of the breast.

Breast softness

The combination of modern technology and smooth implants, along with minimal inflammatory response, results in a naturally soft breast.

Safety

The synergy between the smooth implant surface and minimally invasive surgical technique creates optimal conditions to reduce the risk of inflammation and complications, such as BIA-ALCL lymphoma.

Longevity of results

Tissue expansion ensures long-term stability of the outcome, as demonstrated by studies showing no implant displacement even three years after surgery.

How is the procedure performed?

1. Tunneling using a tissue separator.

2. Controlled tissue expansion with an expander.

3. Insertion of SmoothSilk Ergonomix2 using a sleeve.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

The procedure is performed using smooth-surface implants. Currently, we use implants up to 330 ml.

The Preservé method reduces the risk of capsular contracture thanks to the smooth surface and the no-touch technique.

In the Preservé technique, the implant is positioned beneath the gland (subglandular placement).

The implant is inserted through a small incision of approximately 3 cm in the inframammary fold.

Regardless of the method used, we always recommend that our patients undergo annual ultrasound examinations. This allows for early detection of any changes or abnormalities. Implant removal or replacement is recommended only if something concerning arises. However, based on our experience, there are patients who underwent breast augmentation 20–30 years ago and have never needed implant removal or replacement.

Preservé was first introduced in Italy by the undersigned in 2025, and performed first time by Prof. Fabio Santanelli di Pompeo.

At least six months must pass after the end of breastfeeding.

In the presence of marked asymmetry, other breast correction techniques may be more appropriate.

The implants used in the Preservé method are produced by a world-leading manufacturer that uses advanced silicone materials. These implants have undergone numerous tests before being placed on the market.

A full return to physical activity, such as weightlifting or contact sports, should occur after approximately 4 weeks. Normal daily activities, such as grocery shopping or cleaning, are generally possible as early as the day after surgery.

In Preservé, the implant is placed under the mammary gland while preserving breast tissues and ligaments. In the subfascial technique, the implant is placed beneath the fascia of the pectoralis major muscle (which is more painful and invasive), whereas in the submuscular technique, it is placed beneath the pectoralis major muscle, potentially interfering with its function.

With the Preservé technique, anesthesia is local with sedation and is applied to the area beneath the mammary gland using a special cannula introduced through a single access point in the inframammary fold.

The cost of the Preservé procedure varies depending on the individual characteristics to be corrected. An in-person consultation is recommended.
